As a people we have been entrusted with many missions, we’ve been called many names but few have been as ennobling as the following:
6. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the children of Israel.”
What does it mean to be a nation of priests?
Is there any possible connection between this description of Yisro:
1. Now Moses’ father in law, Jethro, the priest of Midian, heard all that God had done…
If the type of priest we are supposed to emulate is Yisro, what value and contributions did he make to society that offer great inspiration for the Jewish people at Sinai?
